My life in a nutshell....

I have been crazy busy (shocker!) but I have been having the best time enjoying summer festivities, creating new meals, and renovating one of the spare rooms into our walk in closet!

I left you with this photo in one of my last blogs...

well, this old vanity was redone for our new walk in closet... which now looks like:

Still not completely finished, but I am very excited about how everything has come out so far.

I was very excited to stumble upon this gingham watering can at Target in the clearance section!

Enjoying some lovely gingham pattern and color blocking ; )

Friday night we enjoyed some music and drinks in Watkins Glen...

Speaking of drinks... this leads me into the next section... Joe & Octavia's wedding.

Stuffed Broccoli and Cheese Chicken with Sweet Potato Tater Tots
Creamsickle Cupcake
Father's Day Cards
On a personal note... I have never met my biological father. My mom has stepped up to the plate to be both the mother and father role in my life. She has done such an amazing job and surpassed many obstacles in order to better her life as well as mine. Although I do not have my real father in my life (which I am more than okay with) I have had two men that have played a huge part in my life! I have my step father who I've known for about the last fourteen years. He is the kindest, most giving, hardest worker, and overall an amazing person. I also have a god father who has known me since I was a baby and has been there for me my whole life... whether it was grabbing food together, picking me up from dance, and going on adventures. He has been one of my biggest cheerleaders.

I  figured that I would switch it up this week and add a little more about me and what I do...

I AM: A contract sub(looking for a full time teaching gig), an adjunct instructor at the local community college, cheerleading coach, dance instructor, & apartment manager. THE BEST ADVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED:The song by Leann Womack and reiterated my mother... "If you have the chance to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance!" MY FAVORITE TREND RIGHT NOW:Anything bright/bold. I AM TERRIFIED OF:Failure/rejection...ohyeah,and RIDES!!! I PLAN TO CONQUER THIS FEAR BY: Putting myself out there more... and I don't plan on conquering my fear of rides any time soon! : P  AT THE TOP OF MY BUCKET LIST: BABY?? MAKES ME HAPPY: Time with family and friends, laughing, and being active! AFTER WORK YOU'LL FIND ME:Up in the gym working on my fitness or spending time with the husband & dogs! THIS SUMMER I'LL BE: working and enjoying the weekends more since for the first time in ten years I will not be waitressing!! (YAY!) : )  CITIES OR BEACHES? Beaches! Gotta love the sun!  I AM MOST INSPIRED BY: Those who are true to themselves and passionate about something they love!

Last weeked was our annual Spring Recital and I figured I would share some of the pieces I choreographed:

My Advanced Ballet Girls

My Jazz Girls

These are from this past winter season, but I wanted to share what I do/am passionate about...

Memorial Day Weekend... more importantly... My Birthday Weekend

This past weekend was an amazing mini vacation that included tons of celebrating with friends and family for the memorial day holiday, but more importantly, my birthday! : P  It all started Thursday night with 2300 at Corning Glass Museum which is an event with live glassblowing, live music, and food & drinks. It is like a large social event that I like to refer to as my free Birthday party when it rolls around in May.

Disclamer:** Be prepared for tons of photos and how many times I can fit the word "Birthday" in a sentence**

Mani/Pedi ready with a bright neon pink color for the Bday weekend

Mine and my mom's Besties at the cellar after 2300.

My B-day morning started with @ Barnes & Nobles with some Starbucks<3

and it was off to corning for the art/glass fest...

One of my favorite foods is soup, so how else would I want to spend my Bday lunch?!
