My life in a nutshell....

I have been crazy busy (shocker!) but I have been having the best time enjoying summer festivities, creating new meals, and renovating one of the spare rooms into our walk in closet!

I left you with this photo in one of my last blogs...

well, this old vanity was redone for our new walk in closet... which now looks like:

Still not completely finished, but I am very excited about how everything has come out so far.

I was very excited to stumble upon this gingham watering can at Target in the clearance section!

Enjoying some lovely gingham pattern and color blocking ; )

My jungle, I mean Garden!!

Friday night we enjoyed some music and drinks in Watkins Glen...
This view was breathtaking it was so beautiful!!

All of the boats were avec (with) lights

Enjoying the Swedish Fish martini at Harbor Hotel (Amaze!)

I've been trying the Skinnygirl concoctions
So far, I have tried the margarita, Pina Colada, and Coconut Vodka
The Pina Colada wins the award so far!

Speaking of drinks... this leads me into the next section... Joe & Octavia's wedding.

A throwback picture that I came across while paroozing wedding photos online.
This is a picture of my Maid of Honor/BF Tina and her father helping me tie my ribbon.

A special congrats to the newly engaged couple! Cameron and James

And on to the food creations:

Shrimp Thai Pasta

Chicken Cordon Bleu
Ricatta-Tomato Pasta
(Not the best picture quality)

Stuffed Broccoli and Cheese Chicken with Sweet Potato Tater Tots
Creamsickle Cupcake
Father's Day Cards
On a personal note... I have never met my biological father. My mom has stepped up to the plate to be both the mother and father role in my life. She has done such an amazing job and surpassed many obstacles in order to better her life as well as mine. Although I do not have my real father in my life (which I am more than okay with) I have had two men that have played a huge part in my life! I have my step father who I've known for about the last fourteen years. He is the kindest, most giving, hardest worker, and overall an amazing person. I also have a god father who has known me since I was a baby and has been there for me my whole life... whether it was grabbing food together, picking me up from dance, and going on adventures. He has been one of my biggest cheerleaders.
